I've seen a lot of talk about leads here on the network. What's effective, what's not, where to buy from, who to steer away from, so on and so forth. Being a data provider and a marketing professional it has always puzzled me as to why car dealers continue to buy internet leads at a premium that are sold time and time again. Actually, it's one of the reasons I joined this community.
My goal was to find an effective way to market for you guys. Direct marketing is always the best, most effective, cost efficient route. My main focus is obviously going to be direct mail and telemarketing efforts with targeted data that is not opt-in/co-reg or raw data.
Well I've done it.
I have two types of leads that are going to be the most effective for car dealers nationwide. One is available right now and the other within the next couple of weeks.
Auto-Triggers - When somebody has their credit pulled within the past 24 hours for an auto inquiry, you receive that customers info and are able to use your sales skills to obviously gain a deal that is right in front of your face. Best for telemarketing. This is available right now.
Consumer Auto Data - These are auto owners. We have the type of vehicle they drive, last known mileage, etc. etc. These are best for telemarketing, appointment setting, and direct mail. These will be available in the next couple of weeks.
I'd like to hear your opinions on this.
